Individual Appointments for you at the Career Center

Students from the School of Arts and Sciences and the School of Engineering may schedule an appointment to meet with a Career Counselor by calling 617- 627-3299.  Please note: appointments fill quickly so plan in advance to ensure that you get help before an application deadline or job interview.

Career Coaching is available for more in-depth issues such as career decision-making, converting a CV to resume, or non-academic job search. These appointments are generally 30 minutes.

Resume and Cover Letter Critiques are provided during drop-in hours. Drop-ins are 12pm - 3pm on Mondays and Wednesdays, and 1pm - 4 pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Interviewing Preparation and Videotaped Mock Interviews can be arranged during a coaching session.

Self-assessments may be helpful for graduate students who are considering changes in their career direction. We offer the Myers-Briggs Type Inventory (MBTI), a personality assessment, and the Strong Interest Inventory, an instrument to assess your interests.
